Christine accredited her first permanent makeup training courses, specifically for brows for beginners in June 2017 and has since added lip and eye courses as well as advanced courses for artists who are already trained in machine work and microblading. As the leading training academy in Scotland, she takes great satisfaction in helping her students achieve their own individual goals, whether it is adding a new treatment to their treatment list, or the start of an entirely new career path.
The training we provide at our Edinburgh studio is for machine work only. This is not microblading. Machine work is suitable for all skin types and can be used to create stunning powdery ombre brows, realistic looking hairstroke brows, subtle or more dramatic eyeliners and gorgeous, defined blushing lips. We however, unlike some training providers, believe it is best to break the training down, focusing on learning one or two techniques/ areas at one time, starting with the most straight forward techniques, then adding on the more challenging areas/ advanced techniques when ready. For this reason, you will not find an ‘all in one’ course here.
Christine first entered the world of make-up artistry in 2006 when she trained in make-up and hair for film, tv, and fashion at Delamar Academy in London. She worked as a Make-up Artist for 8 years and was one of the first people to bring eyelash extensions and HD Brows to Edinburgh, before deciding to venture into the field of semi-permanent make-up in 2014. What was originally meant to be just another string to her bow soon took over and now providing semi-permanet brow, eye and lip treatments for clients is what she does full-time.
In 2017, she took another big step by accrediting her first semi-permanent make-up course and began teaching students from all walks of life the art of creating beautiful semi-permanent brows. Following on from a successful first year, she has now accredited courses for eyeliner and lips as well.
